Browning Superposed

Small Arms And Sidearms

The Browning Superposed is a Belgian-made over-and-under shotgun designed by John Browning and completed by his son Val Browning after John death, introduced in the United States in 1931. Made in 12, 16, 20 and 28 gauge and .410 bore with a boxlock action, it brought Browning over-under design, patented as early as 1923, to market along with features such as a single selective trigger, and it became prized by competitive shooters and hunters despite its high cost.
