TZ-45

Small Arms And Sidearms

The TZ-45 was an Italian blowback-operated submachine gun designed in 1944 and produced between 1944 and 1945, with an estimated 6,000 made. Manufacturing rights were later sold to the Burmese army, which produced it as the BA-52, colloquially known as the Ne Win Sten, and kept it in service into the mid-1980s with infantry and the early 1990s with support troops.
