Iron Beam, officially called Laser Dome and known in Hebrew as Eitan's Light, is a directed-energy air defense system developed by the Israeli defense contractor Rafael Advanced Defense Systems together with Elbit Systems. It is designed to destroy short-range rockets, artillery shells, and mortar bombs at a range of up to about ten kilometers, complementing the longer-range Iron Dome system. After years of development the system was officially deployed in December 2025.
