The tekko are weaponized stirrups and horseshoes that originated in Okinawa, Japan, classed among the fist load weapons. A fist load weapon increases the mass of the hand so that, given the relationship between the fist's momentum and its mass, it increases the force the bearer can deliver, and some fist load weapons also served, like a sword's guard, to protect the bearer's hand.
