The Wallace Sword is an antique two-handed sword traditionally said to have belonged to William Wallace, the Scottish knight who led resistance to English occupation during the First War of Scottish Independence, and is associated with his campaigns including the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297 and the Battle of Falkirk in 1298. Its authenticity is disputed, since scholars believe the blade may combine components from different eras, with some parts possibly dating to the late 1600s or early 1700s rather than Wallace's own lifetime. It is now held at the National Wallace Monument in Stirling, Scotland.
