Zastava PPZ

Small Arms And Sidearms

The Zastava PPZ is a semi-automatic pistol made by the Serbian firm Zastava Arms, representing the latest generation of the manufacturer CZ 99 series of handguns. Development ran through several iterations, from the initial CZ M-07 design in 2007 to the RASHOMON prototype in 2010 and the final PPZ prototype in 2012, with a polymer frame, an interchangeable backstrap, and a full-length MIL-STD-1913 rail that allows modular caliber conversion by changing the barrel, spring and magazine. The pistol is offered in .45 ACP, 9mm Parabellum, .40 S&W and 7.62x25mm Tokarev, weighs 650 grams in .45 ACP form, measures 190 millimeters with a 108 millimeter barrel in the M-07 model, and holds between 14 rounds in .45 ACP and 20 rounds in 7.62x25mm Tokarev, sighted with three-dot iron sights.
