9×18mm Ultra

Small Arms And Sidearms

The 9x18mm Ultra is a German pistol cartridge often described as an intermediate round between the .380 ACP, or 9x17mm, and the 9x19mm Parabellum, suited to simple blowback pistols. As actually loaded, however, its working pressure and velocity sit much closer to the .380 ACP than to the 9x19mm Parabellum.
