This dimension groups weapon systems by the era in which they were first introduced into service. Wikipedia notes that weapons have evolved from "simple implements such as clubs and swords to complicated modern firearms, tanks, missiles and biological weapons," a long evolution spanning every era of warfare. Browsing by introduced era lets a visitor compare weapon systems that entered service in the same period.
