Early modern daggers are the short blades that remained common sidearms alongside the sword and firearm in the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries. A weapon belongs here when the infobox of its cited article names it a dagger and the weapon is placed in the early modern period. It excludes swords and firearms. Weapons in this group are placed by what their own cited article states, so a visitor browsing early modern daggers sees only systems whose sources name that role, and can compare them across eras, makers and the forces that used them.
