MP-446 Viking

Small Arms And Sidearms

The MP-446 Viking is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol developed in Russia by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant between 1998 and 2000 as the civilian version of the military MP-443 Grach service pistol, entering production in 2001. It holds 10 or 18 rounds of 9x19mm Parabellum ammunition, weighs 830 grams, and differs from its military counterpart through a polyamide frame and a deliberately weakened barrel that prevents it from firing high-powered armor-piercing ammunition.
