Cadillac Gage Ranger

The Cadillac Gage Ranger, known in United States military service as the Cadillac Gage Peacekeeper or Peacekeeper I, is a four wheeled armored personnel carrier marketed as an internal security vehicle. Built by Cadillac Gage, now Textron Marine and Land Systems, on a shortened Dodge Ram truck chassis, it entered production in 1979 with first deliveries in April 1980. The United States Air Force Security Forces was its largest customer, taking delivery of 571 vehicles in 1980 and 560 more in 1981, and the type's only known deployment to an active conflict zone was with peacekeeping forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1996. It carries a driver and five passengers, is protected by Cadloy armor rated against 7.62mm fire, and can travel up to 113 kilometers per hour with an operational range of about 483 kilometers.
