Magach is the designation given to a series of tanks in Israeli service, based on the American M48 and M60 tanks. Magach 1, 2, 3 and 5 are built on the M48 series, while Magach 6 and 7 are built on the M60 series, and the name has continued to be applied to all of Israel's M48 and M60 derivatives.
