AirSea Battle was a US military concept, formally introduced in the Department of Defense's February 2010 Quadrennial Defense Review, calling for tightly integrated air and naval forces to defeat an adversary's anti-access and area-denial capabilities and preserve US freedom of action in contested waters and airspace, chiefly in the Western Pacific. It was renamed the Joint Concept for Access and Maneuver in the Global Commons (JAM-GC) in 2015.
