The Hotchkiss M1922 was a light machine gun manufactured by the French firm Hotchkiss, in service from 1922 into the 1950s. It was never adopted in large numbers by the French Army itself, but it was exported widely to European and Latin American countries, where it was sold under the related designations Hotchkiss M1926 and Hotchkiss M1934.
