This section is the top-level band for individual battles and for campaigns, the extended sequences of battles fought across one theater of a single war, held together in one type because a campaign usually carries the same narrative weight as a single decisive battle. A visitor here is looking for a discrete engagement or a bounded run of them, not the war that contains it, which sits in the Wars section and is reached from here through each entry's own part-of edge.
