All Other Small Arms and Personal Weapons

This group collects the Small Arms And Sidearms subcategory's members that do not fit the standard pistol, rifle, submachine gun or shotgun classes: purpose-built personal defense weapons such as the FN P90 and Heckler and Koch MP7 firing a dedicated intermediate cartridge, novelty and covert weapons such as the Kubotan keychain weapon and the Bulgarian umbrella assassination device, an air gun, an underwater firearm, a rocket-propelled Gyrojet handgun, a folding personal defense weapon and a revolver-cylinder grenade launcher. What unites this group is not a shared mechanism but a shared exclusion: each entry is a genuine small arm or personal weapon whose stated role, ammunition or mechanism is distinct enough from the other groups that filing it there would misdescribe it.
