Heckler & Koch G41

Small Arms And Sidearms

The Heckler & Koch G41 is a German assault rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, introduced in 1981 and produced by Heckler & Koch in limited quantities through 1996. It was designed to replace the 7.62x51mm NATO chambered Heckler & Koch G3 and the G3 based HK33 service rifles with a more modern weapon compatible with NATO's then newly adopted small-arms standards.
