The BR18 is a bullpup assault rifle manufactured by Singapore's ST Engineering, formerly ST Kinetics, first unveiled at the Singapore Airshow 2014 as the Bullpup Multirole Combat Rifle. It fires 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition as well as ST Kinetics' own extended-range 5.55mm rounds, uses a gas-operated rotating-bolt action, and is fitted with Picatinny rails at multiple positions for accessories, feeding from 10-, 20- or 30-round detachable STANAG magazines. Developed by Advanced Material Engineering and produced from 2018 onward, it was built to allow Singapore's military to phase out the SAR 21, while also being marketed internationally.
