Assault Rifles of China

This is a child group of Assault Rifles, collecting the Small Arms And Sidearms subcategory's assault rifles designed and manufactured in China: the bullpup QBZ-95 and its QBZ-191 successor, and the earlier Type 56, Type 63 and Type 81 rifles that armed the People's Liberation Army through the second half of the twentieth century before the QBZ series replaced them as the country's standard-issue infantry rifle. The 5 members here trace the People's Republic's own transition from Soviet-derived early Cold War designs to indigenously developed bullpup service rifles.
