The IMBEL IA2 is a Brazilian assault rifle developed and manufactured by IMBEL, offered in two chamberings: the IA2 5.56 in 5.56x45mm NATO and the IA2 7.62 in 7.62x51mm NATO. It was designed to replace the FN FAL, M16A2 and HK33 rifles then in service with the Brazilian Armed Forces.
