All Assault Rifles of the Middle East and Africa

This is a child group of Assault Rifles, collecting the Small Arms And Sidearms subcategory's assault rifles whose own record traces them to a Middle Eastern or African country, none reaching five members on its own within this split: Turkey (the Kale KCR and MKE MPT), South Africa (the Vektor CR-21 and R4), the United Arab Emirates (the CAR 816, produced by Caracal International in Abu Dhabi) and Iran (the KH-2002). These four countries' own domestic and export rifle programs are grouped together as a single regional bucket rather than as four separate one- or two-member groups, each too small on its own to stand as a genuine subtype group under this split.
