The Heckler & Koch SL7 is a roller-delayed blowback operated sporting carbine made by Heckler & Koch of Germany, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. It weighs 8.36 pounds unloaded, measures 39.76 inches long with a 17.71 inch barrel, is semi-automatic only, and feeds from 3 or 10-round detachable box magazines. Produced from the 1980s through 1991, it was designed and marketed as a hunting and utility rifle worldwide, and was succeeded by the Heckler & Koch SLB 2000.
