Semi-Automatic and Battle Rifles

This is a child group of Rifles and Carbines, collecting the Small Arms And Sidearms subcategory's semi-automatic and battle rifles: full-power-cartridge rifles that fire one round per trigger pull rather than the select-fire assault rifles classified separately, including dedicated battle rifles issued as a standard-power alternative to the assault rifle, semi-automatic sporting and service rifles, a bullpup semi-automatic design, and a light-machine-gun-capable battle rifle variant. Carbines that are neither bolt-action nor assault-rifle derivatives also fall here as the closest fit among this parent group's children. The 48 members of this group generally predate or stand alongside the assault rifle as a full-power infantry rifle design.
