Daewoo Telecom K7

Small Arms And Sidearms

The Daewoo Telecom K7 is a South Korean submachine gun chambered for the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge, fitted with an integral suppressor and used by the Republic of Korea Armed Forces. It derives from the Daewoo K1A assault rifle but is simplified by using a blowback action instead of the gas impingement system of its parent rifle. It was first shown outside Korea at the IDEX defence exhibition in the United Arab Emirates in 2003, and it is now made by SNT Motiv. The article infobox credits the design to the Agency for Defense Development and Daewoo Telecom and lists service beginning in 2001.
