The Walther PP is a series of blowback operated semi-automatic pistols made by the German manufacturer Carl Walther. The designation PP stands for the German term Polizeipistole, or police pistol. First developed in 1929, the pistols were chambered in cartridges including 9x18mm Ultra, .22 Long Rifle, .25 ACP, .32 ACP and .380 ACP, and remain in production today.
