Bren Ten

The Bren Ten is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 10mm Auto, made by Dornaus and Dixon Enterprises from 1983 to 1986. It was designed by Thomas Dornaus and Michael Dixon with guidance from firearms instructor Jeff Cooper to combine high magazine capacity with the stopping power sought by proponents of a hard hitting semi-automatic cartridge. Enthusiasts regard it as one of the finest pistol designs of its era, but the company produced only about 1,500 units before magazine quality problems and delivery delays pushed it into bankruptcy. The pistol later gained wider recognition through its use on the television series Miami Vice.
