The Sauer 38H, often known simply as the H, was a small semi-automatic pistol made in Nazi Germany from 1938 until just after the end of World War II in Europe by J. P. Sauer and Sohn of Suhl. Its model designation's H stands for hahn, referring to the pistol's internal hammer firing mechanism.
