Semi-Automatic Pistols of the Middle East and Africa

This is a child group of Semi-Automatic Pistols, collecting the Small Arms And Sidearms subcategory's semi-automatic pistols whose own record traces them to a Middle Eastern or African country: the United Arab Emirates (the Caracal pistol, produced by Caracal International in Abu Dhabi), Israel (the IWI Jericho 941) and South Africa (the Vektor SP1). None of these three countries reaches five members on its own within this split, so they are grouped together as a single regional bucket covering each country's own domestic service or export pistol design.
