The 2S19 Msta-S is a 152.4 mm self-propelled howitzer designed and built by Uraltransmash, first in the Soviet Union and later in Russia. It entered service in 1989 as the successor to the 2S3 Akatsiya, combining the running gear of the T-80 tank with the diesel engine of the T-72. Its 2A64 gun fires 6 to 8 rounds per minute, 10 for the upgraded 2S19M2, to a standard range of about 24.7 kilometers, and it is operated by Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Georgia and Venezuela.
