Accuracy International AXMC

The Accuracy International AXMC is a bolt-action sniper rifle from the British maker Accuracy International, the multi-caliber member of its AX family of tactical rifles. It is chambered for the .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge but can be reconfigured to fire the .300 Winchester Magnum or .308 Winchester round by changing the barrel, bolt and magazine well. The rifle has a conventional layout with a double-chambered muzzle brake that also serves as a mount for a suppressor, a perforated octagonal forend with quick-release accessory rail points, a full-length top rail for day and night sights, a quick-change barrel and a ten-round detachable box magazine. The shoulder stock folds over the receiver to shorten the weapon for transport. Its published empty weight is about 14.5 pounds with a 27 inch barrel. The British Army is named as a key operator of the AX series.
