The AGM-181 Long Range Stand Off weapon is a nuclear armed air launched cruise missile under development by Raytheon, now RTX Corporation, to replace the older AGM-86 cruise missile. It is intended to arm the B-2 Spirit, B-21 Raider and B-52J Stratofortress bombers and carries the W80 Mod 4 thermonuclear warhead. The program began with prototype contracts in 2017, Raytheon was chosen as sole source contractor in 2020, and the Air Force aims for initial operational capability before 2030.
