The AMT Hardballer is a series of semi-automatic .45 ACP pistols built on the M1911 platform by Arcadia Machine and Tool from 1977 to 2002. It was the first 1911-pattern pistol made entirely of stainless steel, and it added adjustable rear sights, a lengthened grip safety and a wide target-style trigger to the original design. It later became recognizable in popular culture through appearances in the Terminator and Hitman films.
