The bo is a staff weapon used in Okinawa, most commonly in the form of the rokushakubo, typically about 1.82 meters (72 inches) long, employed in Okinawan martial arts and in Japanese arts such as bojutsu. Related staff weapons of different lengths include the jo, which has no standard length, and the hanbo, which measures about 90 centimeters (35 inches).
