The Bor is a Polish bolt-action sniper rifle chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO and .338 Lapua Magnum, made by OBR SM Tarnow and in production since 2006. It was developed under the code name Alex after its lead designer Aleksander Lezucha, who had earlier created the Wilk anti-materiel rifle, before being officially designated the Bor. It entered Polish service in 2007 to replace older precision rifles including the Soviet-era SVD, with 196 rifles in use and 657 ordered as of the source, and an Alex-338 variant has also been supplied to Nigeria.
