C-101

The C-101 is an early Chinese supersonic anti-ship and air-to-surface cruise missile, manufactured by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation's Third Academy and known to the Chinese navy under the designation YJ-1. Ramjet-powered and capable of about Mach 2 over a 50 kilometer range, it can be launched from aircraft or surface platforms, though sources describe the system as ultimately unsuccessful; an enlarged, longer-ranged derivative was later built as the C-103.
