The CQC-6, short for Close Quarters Combat Six and also known as the Viper Six, is a handmade tactical folding knife with a tanto blade, designed by knifemaker Ernest Emerson and produced by his company Emerson Knives in Torrance, California. Introduced in 1989, it is credited as the knife that popularized the tactical folding knife as a category.
