The Desert Tech HTI is a bullpup bolt action sniper and anti materiel rifle designed and built in West Valley City, Utah, first shown publicly at the 2012 Shot Show. It is a scaled up, multi caliber development of the smaller Desert Tech SRS-A1, built with aircraft grade aluminum and high impact polymers and offered in calibers including .375 and .408 Cheyenne Tactical, .416 Barrett and .50 BMG. A quick change barrel system lets users swap barrels in about 60 seconds to change caliber or replace worn parts, and in .50 BMG configuration the rifle has an effective range of up to about 2,200 meters. It has been adopted by a number of international military and special forces units.
