The DF-5, also called Dongfeng-5, is a Chinese second-generation, two-stage, silo-launched, liquid-propellant intercontinental ballistic missile that entered service in 1981. The original DF-5 and DF-5A variants carry a single warhead, while the later DF-5B and DF-5C variants carry up to ten multiple independently targetable warheads, and estimated range runs from roughly 13,000 to 20,000 kilometers depending on variant.
