Emad (missile)

Emad is an Iranian liquid fueled medium range ballistic missile derived from the Shahab-3 platform, developed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force and presented on 11 October 2015. It carries a 750 kilogram warhead to a range of about 1,700 kilometers, using a newly designed maneuverable reentry vehicle that Iranian sources claim achieves a circular error probable of 50 meters, against international estimates of around 500 meters, with a nose cone shaped to allow high altitude airburst detonation. In service since 2015, it ranks as of 2026 among Iran's three longest range operational missiles alongside the Shahab-3 and Sejjil.
