The Hwasong-17 is a North Korean two-stage, liquid-fueled intercontinental ballistic missile first publicly displayed at a military parade on October 10, 2020. Larger than earlier North Korean ICBMs, it has an estimated range of about 15,000 kilometers and is reported to carry three or four warheads with decoys, launched from an eleven-axle transporter erector launcher. North Korea claimed a first successful test on March 24, 2022, though outside analysts pointed instead to a November 18, 2022 launch as the missile's first fully successful flight.
