Jackal (vehicle)

The Jackal, also called the MWMIK for Mobility Weapon Mounted Installation Kit, is a British armoured patrol vehicle built by Supacat for the British Army and the Royal Air Force Regiment. It was procured to give troops better off road reconnaissance and fire support in Afghanistan, with height adjustable air suspension and mounts for heavy machine guns and grenade launchers. The family has grown through the Jackal 2 and Jackal 3 variants and remains in active use by British forces for light reconnaissance work.
