The KelTec SUB-2000 is a blowback-operated, semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine manufactured by KelTec CNC Industries in Cocoa, Florida, and designed by Swedish-American firearms designer George Kellgren. Introduced as the SUB-9 around 1998, the current SUB-2000 model has been in production since 2001; its defining feature is a hinge that lets the barrel fold back against the stock for storage and transport, and it accepts magazines from popular handgun makers including Glock, Beretta and SIG Sauer.
