The MAC Mle 1950, also known as the MAC 50, is a semi-automatic pistol adopted as the standard sidearm of the French army in 1950. It replaced the earlier French Modele 1935A and Modele 1935S pistols and was produced between 1950 and 1970, with roughly 341,900 made in that span.
