The Marlin Model Golden 39A is a lever-action .22 caliber rifle and, per the manufacturer's own claim, the oldest and longest continuously produced shoulder firearm design in the world. It was manufactured by the Marlin Firearms Company, most recently at Remington's Marlin factory in Ilion, New York, until production ended with that factory's closure and its sale to Ruger in September 2020.
