The MON-200 is a large directional anti-personnel mine designed and built in the Soviet Union as an enlarged version of the smaller MON-100, named for its roughly two-hundred-meter effective killing radius. The circular mine is about 434 millimeters across, weighs approximately 25 kilograms, and holds 12 kilograms of TNT, and its size and blast radius make it capable of damaging light vehicles and helicopters in addition to killing or wounding personnel. Mines of this MON series have seen renewed use during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
