The Pantsir missile system is a family of self-propelled, medium-range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery systems built from three vehicle types working together, a missile launcher, a radar truck and a command post. First fielded as the Pantsir-S1, it is produced by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau of Tula, Russia, as the successor to the tracked Tunguska-M1 system.
