The Ruger RXM is a 9mm polymer-framed, striker-fired pistol developed by Sturm, Ruger and Company in collaboration with Magpul and announced in December 2024. Its distinguishing feature is a removable stainless steel fire control insert that sits inside an interchangeable Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip, so that different grip frames can be fitted to the same working parts. Most major components are designed to be compatible with Glock Gen3 pistols, magazines included, and the pistol accepts double-stack magazines such as the Magpul GL9. The barrel is 4 inches (102 mm) long and magazine capacity is 15 plus 1 rounds. The slide is cut for direct mounting of RMR, Delta Point Pro and RMSc pattern optics, the steel sights sit at co-witness height with a tritium front night sight, and a chamber inspection port lets the shooter check the pistol's status. It is a commercial pistol aimed at civilian shooters; the source describes no military or law enforcement adoption.
