The Savage Model 1907 is a semi automatic pocket pistol produced by Savage Arms from 1907 to 1920, chambered in .32 ACP and, from 1913, also in .380 ACP. Though smaller, it descends from the .45 caliber semi automatic pistol Savage submitted to the 1906 to 1911 United States Army trials for a new service sidearm, trials it lost to the Colt entry that became the Colt Model 1911; 181 of the .45 ACP trial pistols were returned to Savage afterward and sold on the civilian market.
