The SPG-9 Kop'yo is a tripod-mounted, man-portable 73mm recoilless gun developed by the Soviet Union and accepted into service in 1962 as a replacement for the B-10 recoilless rifle. It fires fin-stabilized, rocket-assisted high-explosive and high-explosive anti-tank shaped-charge projectiles similar to those fired by the 2A28 Grom gun of the BMP-1 armored vehicle.
