The SVP-24 is a Russian computerized bomb sight and navigation system, built by the company Gefest and T, that guides unguided bombs to strike with accuracy approaching that of precision-guided weapons. It combines GLONASS satellite navigation with a mission computer and cockpit displays so a crew can preprogram target coordinates and let the system calculate the release point automatically. It has been fitted to Russian aircraft including the Su-24M, Su-25SM3, Su-33, Tu-22M3, Tu-95MS, and Tu-142, and it drew wide attention during the Russian intervention in the Syrian Civil War, where strike accuracy improved sharply once ground correction stations were installed in 2015.
